Can I use a different g code sender for BoXZY?

There are lots of g code senders out there. Can I use any of them for boxzy? I have code that is appropriately formatted for boxzy and runs using the included interface. I just don’t like the interface, maybe if i was doing 3D i’d feel differently. I currently use Candle to send GRBL code to a tiny CNC and it works great (but the machine is cheap and not so accurate), but cant connect to boxzy. I know there are lots of choices out there. Anyone with any experience?

Yes you can. Pronterface is the only one I’ve used personally and it works great. Although many gcode senders will work fine with BoXZY, they have to be compatible with repetier/marlin/sprinter gcode formatting and communications. BoXZY itself will communicate with anything that speaks its language, the communications are not restricted.

It looks like Candle is restricted to grbl speaking devices.
