Manual control of gantry with a usb controller (xbox for example)

Does anyone know whats involved with using an gaming controller to control the various axis movement with a controller. Is there a way to map the inputs to the manual control of the boxzy?

The repetier CNC plugin allows the arrow keys to be used to jog the machine in each axis, if you can find a way to have a controller act as the arrow keys for the computer this could be done. I imagine there are already windows based gaming controllers that have that functionality. Here is a link for the plugin (to be added to the BoXZY interface):

I've used this plugin before and it's tough to get it to show up initially, but it does work.

I will test it out! thanks :)

I'm working on recompiling it with added 4th axis support. but per your comment about installing it. For others possibly looking at this. All you need to do is drop the CNCPlugin.dll into the boxzy installation directory plugins folder. Typical would be C:\Program Files\boxzy\plugins
