Z-Axis Growing During Mill Operation

I have Had my machine for under a year and all the sudden the Z-axis has started acting very strangely. I zero it with G92 command and start the print. Say I zero it out at 40mm for the mill head, After I hit print the display jumps to 79.8mm. Still actual is where I have backed it away for clearance. First part cuts at proper depth, then every part after the Z-axis grows into a bigger gap. Although it still reads 79.8. Eventually, the z-axis or sometimes all show red and have to be zeroed again and again. And all of it is getting progressively worse. I have production to get out and I can’t cut what I need. Any Ideas on a fix?

Please check the limit switches on the back panel for conductive debris build up. It causes false activation of the limit switches, resulting in that behaviour.

I will try a through cleaning of it. I do cut primarily aluminum and copper on it.

Cleaned it and ran one of my common files and it ran perfectly. Still a little confused as to why the z axis changes value once I start the Print cycle.

The readout in the manual control window will preemptively display the coordinate it is in the process of moving to, once the command is accepted. It is not a real time display.
