Why does Milling Stop Mid way

Over the past two days, I’ve been milling my coins I made, with no problems whatsoever.

I loaded up the jig, homed and all that and hit Print. It started to mill the first coin, it made one full pass and stopped. The Boxzy app becomes Non Responsive on the computer.

I also get an error message that reads “Communication Time Out-reset send buffer block”

I didn’t make any changes to settings etc. It just stopped responding. Even after numerous restarts of the computer, it ends up the same way. All the limit switches are clean, I clean the surface and switches after each run. So now I’m stumped.

You can disregard this question. I did do something, but I didn’t think it would affect the Boxzy. Easel has been getting new driver updates, so I back peddled from the newest to the last known working one. Every thing is working just like it should now.

If you upgrade to the latest, any files created in it will not be backwards compatible if you have to roll back to the previous driver.

Thanks for that information! No idea why Easel would provide non backward compatible drivers. Do new files created on Easel with updated drivers work properly?


You can print files that are created with the newest driver, but when I tried to print them under the prior driver, all the measurements are off.
