G92 g-code zero commands do not act as expected
When I manually set the position of my boxyz to where I desire for zero (in my case near the upper left when looking down). And then I enter the G92 gcode commands to set that as X and Y zero (as per the cnc milling guide), the boxyz head actually physically moves/REpositions.
I did not expect it to move. I expected it to logically "set" the CURRENT physical position of the head to what I consider to be "ZERO" for the current project.
For example, when I enter this gcode command (on the manual control tab) G92 Y0
The boxyz head moves to the far right.
When I enter G92 X0 the head moves to the front.
Am I doing something wrong?
Is this a good question?
