Has anyone ever seen PLA range of 225-235?

I bought a roll of glow in the dark PLA, and the recommended temperature range is from 225-235 degrees.

Has anyone ever seen this?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Yes, I have. It's definitely pretty high. Before you obey the preferred temperature given for the material, heat the nozzle up in 10C increments (after reaching 180C) and with the filament drive motor unplugged, after each 10C rise try to push the filament up through the filament drive by hand until it starts to extrude cleanly out of the nozzle (do this slowly, a little movement of filament is a lot of extrusion at the nozzle). This will be around the correct heating temperature for BoXZY and that filament, make 5C adjustments from there to get it just right.

I don't unplug the drive motor. I use the manual control to turn on the extruder heater and then do "the pushing of the filament". I don't like cycling connectors if I don't have to.

Thank you both, I think that the filament was just junk. I don't think I will be using it. Which is a shame as it was a glow in the dark filament that I really wanted to play with.
