Warm motor extruder trouble

Hello,

I have trouble since I try to print a part for more than 30 minutes. Here it's quite warm, between 25 - 30° celsuis. The extruder motor is very warm, more than the other motors. I think I will need to decrease motor's voltage on Stepper controler.

Does anyone know the good value for this.

Thank to all

Patrice

I don't know the exact value, however if turn the extruder pot to the left by 1/16th turn it will likely stop the overheating and still leave you plenty of amperage to spare (the pot is the silver little screw head on the red mini driver board). Make sure you do this with the power cable and USB completely disconnected.

Here is a video on how to set the current limit on the Pololu stepper driver board.
