Laser Engraving Tool Solutions

I began using the laser engraver and I can home the tool on the x, y, and z axis-es. How can I get the laser engraver to begin the processes? I have read through all of the online tutorials and troubleshooting solutions and their always seems to be something missing. Any help would be appreciated.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

When going trough the tutorial for downloading the plugin I found that the step where it say you have to go into the properties of the .dll file and switch the properties to unblock. After that I click apply and ok and exit out of the page. Upon reopening the properties tab I found that it had changed the properties back to the default. Is their a properties besides the unblock that i need to change? I followed the guide every step.

Is the Boxzy folder (with the boxzy.dll file in it) in the plugins folder? You should "Run as administrator" the installer when doing the initial install. Get the original installer version of the software working before attempting to deal with the update that they sent out.

Take the entire contents of the BoXZY interface program with the BoXZY .dll in place and zip it in windows as a whole. Then unzip using the native windows tool (right click "extract files"). In that new extracted file set, do the same unblock procedure. It should stick at that point and allow access to the BoXZY tab. Also, visit here for a different install procedure and some helpful information:

If you can already view the BoXZY tab, the unblock isn't the issue. If you are able to access the tab and cannot get the laser to start, please verify for me that in the log (upper right hand corner "toggle log" to open and close at the bottom of the screen) that it says "laser detected" when you insert and plug in the laser. Also please verify what exactly the temperature reads as with the laser installed, it should read a very high temperature. I'll need the number to know if that's the issue.
