Hi. We should be able to get this figured out fairly easily. I just need to verify a few details to figure out the issue for you.

Is there a piece of tape covering the black protruding portion at the bottom of the laser?

When you install the laser in the machine and plug it in, what does the temperature read in the manual control window(I know its not the 3d printer head)?

Does the log at the bottom of the screen read "laser head detected" when its plugged in and installed into the main gantry (press toggle log towards the top of the interface if the log is not already visible) ?

Does your 3d printer head both heat up and does the 3d printer fan run when you use the manual control buttons?

There is no tape on the laser.

Trying out Laser Test Gcode and temperature read is indicating 989.50 *C /Off

Laser head is being detected, and no Errors being occurred.

As per 3D printer head have not tried it yet as just got my BoXZY; will do so though.

What do you think being a problem with laser head?

Most likely scenario is a faulty or damaged plug/harness. Are all the pins In the harness and plug straight and at matching heights? The laser plug should have 5 pins and the harness should have 10. The results of testing the 3d printer head will tell me a lot.

have checked the Pins in the harness and noticed 4 of them matching heights except for the 5th

3d printer head both heats up and runs the fun, but filament doesn't come out or comes out hardly a little drop, however when we did the test and pushed it, it went through. Not sure what is being wrong with the whole machine

@designerlab, Ok, it is nearly certain your laser plug is damaged on the laser cylinder. If you ship it back the team can repair it. Email and tell her Just Helping said you needed a label to return the laser head for repair. As for the 3d printer head, I need you to verify you were able to complete steps 6 and 7 here: 2.1 3D Printing with BoXZY

What was the result of step 7?
