y axis wobble when machining causes wavy part edge

So has there been a recall on the ball screw wobble issue? It is only bad in the y axis on my machine. It has about .0025" tir. I didn't notice it until I machined my first part today. I have had the machine for a long time, but have not used it until this year. I would hope you would have a solution/recall by now??

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Were you a kickstarter backer, or did you buy one recently (V1.3)?

I was a kickstarter backer. I have had the machine for about two years, but just recently started using it. Life happened...

There is a known problem with the concentricity of the ball screws. All 3 of mine are off. If you have any 3d prints from a while back, take a look at the surface. If you see repeating wave patterns and z-axis misalignment (small, but layer by layer they're noticeable) you have the same problem. You could try to ask for new ones, goodness knows I want new ones too.

No such recall, however BoXZY has a 1 year warranty on its components.
