GCODE not being previewed

Hi there. As I understand this, after I load valid gcode into the BOXZY interface, it should be displayed in the preview window. When I load a gcode file nothing is displayed but if I run it the head moves around as per the gcode. What am I doing wrong? If I load in an STL, it does show up in the preview window.

Hi there. Thanks for your help ‘Just Helping’. It put me on the right track. I noticed my system was running OpenGL 1.1.0 so I updated it and now the travel moves are actually displayed. Thanks again for the help and the quick response.

Hi Paul,

You'll want to go to the “Config" selection at the top of the BoXZY interface then go config -> preferences -> then Select the “3D visualization” icon on the left side of the preferences window, followed by selecting the filament tab. There, under Visualization, you will see a check box for “Disable Travel Move Visualization", make sure that box is not selected, and deselect it if it is.

If that box was already not selected, just above it in the “colors" section, select the color box to the right of “Travel Moves", and choose a color that is more visible.
