  1. First you will  slide your BoXZY attachment head onto the Y axis rod we left attached to the X axis ball screw during the Disassembly process Be sure you do this in the correct orientation which can be seen in the first image Next, while supporting the attachment mount with one hand, put the bearing mount onto the Y axis rod, the correct bearing mount will look like the one indicated in the second image by the red box
    • First you will slide your BoXZY attachment head onto the Y axis rod we left attached to the X axis ball screw during the Disassembly process

    • Be sure you do this in the correct orientation which can be seen in the first image

    • Next, while supporting the attachment mount with one hand, put the bearing mount onto the Y axis rod, the correct bearing mount will look like the one indicated in the second image by the red box

    • While still holding the attachment mount insert the the rod X axis rod through the front of the BoXZY and into the mount we inserted in the last part of this step, this is indicated in the third image

    • Be sure that you guide this rod all the way through the bearing mount and into the hole in the fame of the BoXZY at the back of the machine

    • When you have the rod fully inserted you can slowly and gently, remove your hand from supporting your attachment mount

  2. Locate the Threaded rod that you unbolted from the back of your BoXZY Insert the threaded end of this rod into your BoXZY attachment head and slide it into the BallScrew bearing mount at the back of your BoXZY and push it all the way in Insert your Y axis bearing mount on the end of the rod you just inserted into your BoXZY attachment head
    • Locate the Threaded rod that you unbolted from the back of your BoXZY

    • Insert the threaded end of this rod into your BoXZY attachment head and slide it into the BallScrew bearing mount at the back of your BoXZY and push it all the way in

    • Insert your Y axis bearing mount on the end of the rod you just inserted into your BoXZY attachment head

    • Insert the Y axis rod into the side of your BoXZY aluminum frame, and with your hand hold the Y axis bearing mount we just installed and slide the rod through it

    • Slide the rod all the way through and into the hole on the other side of the frame at the opposite end you inserted the rod

  3. To reassemble your exterior flanges locate the bolt you removed from the front flange of your BoXZY, seen in the first image Rotate the flange so that you can insert the bolt at the top of the flange, this is indicated in the first image Next, locate the bolts, washer, bracket and flange you removed from the right side of your BoXZY, as shown in the second image
    • To reassemble your exterior flanges locate the bolt you removed from the front flange of your BoXZY, seen in the first image

    • Rotate the flange so that you can insert the bolt at the top of the flange, this is indicated in the first image

    • Next, locate the bolts, washer, bracket and flange you removed from the right side of your BoXZY, as shown in the second image

    • Insert both bolts into the flange, pay special attention to the shape of the flange, there is a notch indicated by a red arrow in the third image, and place the washers on the bolts on the side of the flange that will touch your BoXZY aluminum frame

    • Screw the short bolt into the BoXZY frame, indicated by the green arrow, until you feel resistance then screw it 1/4 of a full turn

    • Place the Bracket, indicated by the yellow arrow, on the inside of your BoXZY aluminum frame, and screw the bolt until you feel resistence and then turn it 1/4 of a full turn, indicated by the blue arrow

    • Make sure that you thread the bolt into and through the bracket while keeping the bracket pressed firmly against the inside of your BoXZY aluminum frame

  4. On the back of your BoXZY tighten the bolt that we removed from the square hole in the back of your machine, if you need to manually turn the ballscrew to access the threaded end of the rod, do so now This bolt needs to be very tight, get it as tight as you can with your Allen Wrench Next you will tighten the set screw on your Y axis mount at the front of your BoXZY, as seen in the second image
    • On the back of your BoXZY tighten the bolt that we removed from the square hole in the back of your machine, if you need to manually turn the ballscrew to access the threaded end of the rod, do so now

    • This bolt needs to be very tight, get it as tight as you can with your Allen Wrench

    • Next you will tighten the set screw on your Y axis mount at the front of your BoXZY, as seen in the second image

    • Turn the set screw until you feel resistance and then turn the set crew 1/8 of a full turn and no further

    • Next you will tighten the set screw on your X axis mount on the ride side of your BoXZY, as seen in the third image

    • Turn the set screw until you feel resistance and then turn the set crew 1/8 of a full turn and no further

  5. Place your acrylic panel back onto the top of your BoXZY
    • Place your acrylic panel back onto the top of your BoXZY

    • Position the little house that is etched into the Acrylic panel in the back left corner of your BoXZY, this is indicated by the blue circle in the image

    • Tighten all four bolts you removed from this panel until you feel resistance, this is shown by the green arrows in the image

    • The acrylic panel is not a structural component of BoXZY and does not need to be very tight, simply make sure that the panel is tightened and not loose and shakey
